Ian Freemantle

Ian Freemantle created the character ‘Quercus’, a seven-foot sculpture carved from a huge branch which fell from a 500-year-old oak tree. Over recent years he developed the concept of Quercus as a story and combined it with an energetic performance and workshops at festivals and children’s groups.
